Malik Bedsheets
Care Guide
Every Malik Bedsheets set is made from premium export-quality 76×68 cotton fabric, hand-finished in Faisalabad with a 100% color guarantee. A little care goes a long way in keeping that softness, color, and durability intact for years. Here’s how to look after your cotton bedsheets properly.
Two Sizes
Single & Double Bedsheets
Washing
- Wash in cold or lukewarm water — hot water breaks down cotton fibers faster and fades prints over time
- Use a mild detergent; avoid chlorine bleach, especially on printed and colored designs
- Wash dark and light colors separately for the first few washes to prevent any color transfer
- If machine washing, use a gentle or normal cycle and avoid high spin speeds
Drying
- Air-dry in shade where possible — direct, prolonged sunlight can fade printed designs over time
- If using a dryer, stick to low heat
- Avoid wringing the fabric tightly; smooth it out and let it hang or lay flat
Ironing
- Use a medium-heat iron
- For printed bedsheets, iron inside-out to protect the print and colors
First Wash Tip
Wash Once Before First Use
Cotton fabric can shrink very slightly after the first wash — this is normal and already accounted for in our stated sizes. We recommend washing your new bedsheet once before first use to soften the fabric and set the colors.
Between Uses
Storage & Longevity
- Store bedsheets clean and completely dry to prevent mustiness or mildew
- Fold and keep in a cool, dry place away from direct moisture
Storage
- Keep bedsheets away from sharp objects, nails, and rough surfaces that can snag the weave
- Rotate between multiple sets if you have them — it extends the life of each one
- Trim any loose threads carefully with scissors rather than pulling them, to avoid runs in the fabric
